My boyfriend found out and he wanted abortion RIGHT AWAY but i couldent deal with going through with that.due to some disbelifes.
So I decided to keep the baby.But I had huge goals and I do great in school and I dont want this to stop me from doing what I want to do.What should I do :cry:
I guess im not as upset...not like when I was when I first found out.Im acctually getting to the point were im excited.But I'm terrified so I just kept looking for somewere were I could talk to people In the same spot I am..and I foubnd this web site so I hope to hear from ppl.

I'm glad you're calming down a bit. I'm sorry the guy's pushing you to do something you don't want to do. You need to explain that it is YOUR body and that you have the final say. If he doesn't want to acfept that, he may not stick around. Even if he does and you keep your pregnancy going, alway remember that he may haul off later on. Always have a backup plan
Have you told your parents/guardiens? It may be hard, but it's better for you if they hear it from you rather than stumbling across it on their own.
Remember--It's YOUR body and YOUR life...that means it's YOUR decicion. You parents can't legally force you to do anything.

first off i think most of us were scared when we first saw the + sign...
just so you know GM is prochoice. We support ALL choices including abortion. So while congratulations on your pregnancy you should know that comments like that won't be tolerated because they can hurt members that have had abortions.
A baby will only stop you from what you let it. I got pregnant at 19 and am now finishing up my BA and applying for my masters. I travel and do all sorts of things. Lots of mamas here have had kids younger then me and have managed to do AMAZING things. You can learn a lot from them.

But refering to the first post.I did in fact tell my mom and foster mom. as well and my gramma and boyfriends gramma.They all took it well accept for my grandmother it was really hard to hear her reaction.
No one in my family can accept the fact that I do really love and care about my boyfriend,they really do not like him.Although he dose try a little to get them to change their minds but it's harder than he thinks.
The thing is...is that he's 20 which not many ppl in my family know.But he is a good guy and has said that he'll be here.Already coming to doctors appointments and so on,so im not all that worried.
Im just scared because I ont know how to support the child.
My boyfriend has depressionwhich makes it very hard to do anything therefor he dosnt have a job nore do I since I just became old enough to get a job.Tat's probably my biggest worry and school also because the only collage that teaches the course I want is in a different provence.And I cant go to collage leaving my child.I'm sort of on the verge o breaking down and crying...altough im excited i feel scared and very emotional.I just want it to be over with. *sigh*[/i]

Hey there!! welcome.. i became pregnant at 15 and gave birth 3 months before my 16th birthday!! i will give you hope. I went to school every single day up until the day i gave birth. I continued school on-line and finished year 11 in record time. I went back to school with my friends to do year 12 and graduate and i did just that! I was fortunate to have a creche out the back of my school that i attended so i new my son was always close by while i was finishing my education. I finished year 12 and completed a certificate 4 in beauty therapy which is what i wanted to do before i even had my son! You can still do good at school you dont have to stop your education because you have a kid! Im also working part time this year too and doing another course to become a property manager in realestate! there is hope chick keep a smile on your face!! youll do your baby proud no matter what happens. Whens the due date if you dont mind me asking and do you no what it is yet?

I was 16 when i got pregnant with my now 2 year old and still 16 when i had him, a week off turning 17. I was scared aswell but got over it and enjoyed the pregnancy and now have a gorgeous 2 year old.

Hey Jenn! My name is Amber and i too was in a similar postion that you are in. I was 15 when i got pregnant nad 16 when i gave birth to my son. He is now a healthy happy bouncin 9 month old baby boy and very buisy...Like your boyfriend mines first initial reaction was to get an abortion but we both discovered that our futures had other plans and that a baby was going to be aprt of it. I am now 17 and still attending high school. I am not going to lie to you and say that being teen mom and still going to school is a walk in the prak cuz its for sure isn't. I guess what i am trying to say is that you should stay in school. For me i find it hard cuz i miss out on those 6 hours of my sons life but what i am doing is not only for me but for him aswell. Feel free to pursue your goals, especially finishing off high school cuz thats extrmemly important for you and your baby so that you can get a job to support him...i know it may be hard for you though because your family really isn't in the same boat as you but if you just be straight with them and let them know that this is something that u really want and maybe they'll realize that all you nedd right now is support!
