ladies i've been a lurker for awhile and now need some help
I am a few days late on my period and took a pregnancy test it came out negative but still havent gotten my period and all last month i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend do you all think there is still a chance that i could be pregnant... i also have been feeling a little sick in the morning and having headaches which is not normal for me so i just really don't know any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks so much

First off welcome to girl-mom. I was a bit of a lurker to begin with too. There is always a chance that you could be pregnant especially if you have had unprotected sex. When did you take the pregnancy test? My advice would be to maybe wait a day and then take another test and see what the result is.
Welcome!! Like Chatterbox said wait a day and take another test. If that still comes back negitive and you do not get your period, go to your doctors or a local clinic. I am not sure how old you are but if your worried about your parents the doctors can not tell your parents and they should not put the test on your insurance information. Just tell them that its private and you do not want your parents to know. Good Luck!
You don't even have to pay privately. In Washington we have a program called Take Charge, which will pay for birth control and an annual exam at no cost, and no notification to your parents. If you're in Western Washington, try ppww.org .

I would try testing again in a few days. Ironically, the stress of wondering if you are pregnant can sometimes make your period late.

I had two negatives before my positive test.
how do you feel? When i found out i was pregnant, I woke up one morning ( not with sickness) and just had a feeling I was pregnant, and I was only 3 weeks. The test turned out very faint, but it was positive (and i did 3 just to make sure)

I'd say test again. Its possible to get negative tests while pregnant.

welcome! nothing lke a good pregnancy scare to put life in focus! i'm sorry you're so stressed. i know that take-three-tests-in-a-week feeling but dmn is it expensive. i have had to FORCE myself to wait a week between tests to get accurate results without wasting those expensive sticks. i hope all is well with you.
at first i took a test and it was negative and i still hadnt got my period a few days later and so i had my momma steal one from work (lol she works at a hospital) and i took another one and sure enough it was posotive. but if i were you id make an appointment anf get a test done there.
welcome to g-mom. i bought a test from dollar tree and it came back faint positive i took 3 of those things. i didnt want to believe. i then went the next day to a pregnancy clinic and theres too came back positive. a few days later i had really bad pain so i went to the ER and i was already constipated =/ they gave me a urine test and it came back NEGATIVE but the blood test came back POSITIVE. I was only around 4 weeks when the dollar store test came out positive. well good luck
Thanks everyone for you advice i still am not quit sure but i am just gonna wait till im supposed to get my july period in about a week
cause i got a weird period for june and i have no idea so i will definitely let you ladies know thanks again so much

welcome. i'd for sure take a test. I thought I was pregnant the beginning of the year & i think a lot of it had to do with stress. because i wasn't pregnant ...
but get tested & good luck.
btw, i'm heather 23 y/o mama to lyric who'll be 5 in september.
