I got a kitten today! I have lots and lots of people names, but I have no idea what to name my kitten. Ideas? She is a she.
Some of my top right now are Meena, Luna, and Minuet.

anything from Shakespeare, like:
Beatrice (which was quickly shortened to Bebe)
Viola
Olivia
Miranda
Katherina
the list goes on and on...
if you do choose a shakespearean name for Kitty, I'd steer clear of Tragic Heroines. A cat named Ophelia is just doomed for a nasty end. :wink:
Though naming a cat "Lady Macbeth" sounds pretty fuckin cool. to me, at least.
She looks like a Lacey to me! Thats just the first name that came to mind when I saw her. Cats names that I've had in the past include:

Savvy (Short for something in french)
Kazin (Its some weird sci-fi cat warrior from a book)
Eek-a-mouse (A former one hit wonder rock star, Eek for short)

I think we are going to stick with Meena. I kinda like Luna, but my friend convinced me that if i changed it the cat would get a complex. Plus, she seems to come when you call her Meena.
She is around 10 weeks old. We got her at an animal shelter and they weren't really sure.
She looks like a Meena to me. She's absolutely gorgeous! Where'd you get her?

My favorite name I ever had for a cat though was my little kittie named Eddie Fidget.
Dont ask me why I named him that...It was either Eddie Fidget or Hagrid and he just didnt look like a Hagrid.

Mimsy! It's from a Lewis Caroll poem. It's a made up word. "All mimsy were the borograves..." or something. Mimsy is a cat name, I've decided.
