What classes is everyone taking? I am taking 3 online classes again and working fulltime ...
Cross Culture Literature
Intro to Business
American Govt & Politics
They're all Gen Ed's... I already have my associates in Graphic Design, but this year I just did my Gen Ed's... so when I transfer to UND in the fall, I'll only have 3 semesters left until my Bachelor's ... although, I am not sure what it'll be yet ... probably Art, though. Most of my credits are art and they ALL TRANSFER... hell yah!

thats so awesome Heather! I take online classes and there hard but your a strong determined mama and you can do it! Im so happy for you!
I am taking:
Tutorial Course: Literature in Exile
Reading and Compostion in World Literature
Psycology 310
and this really cool artsy math class
INFANT-TODDLER PRACTICUM (Since having a 3 year old and 5.5 month old doesn't give me enough practice :D)
EARLY CHILDHOOD PROFESSIONAL (This is the final course where I put together a portfolio proving I can teach)
DAP (Developmentally Appropriate Practice) GUIDANCE IN CULTURAL CONTEXT

I'll graduate with my Associate degree in May, then transfer to a 4 year Fall 07.
Women Write the World
Intro to Logic lecture and discussion
Topics in American Politics: Politics of Social Movements
Spanish Level 4
Phys Ed Conditioning
I am taking 5 classes this semester!! Ahh but Women Write the World and Polit. of Soc Movements are both in my major (gender, women and sexuality studies and political science- double major) spanish isn't hard for me, and conditioning is just excercise. Intro to logic is gonna be hard.
This spring I'll be taking:
Macroeconomics
Principles of Finance
Business Communications
Marketing Management
Internet Research and Marketing
I'll be taking:
Exposition and Persuasion
Basic Algebra
Intro to Business
annnnd
Legal Research!
I plan on going up until I go into labor and returning 3 weeks later! The first 3 classes are online, and Legal Research I'll have to go in for once a week.
this spring ill be taking art appreciation and child development online. while working a 65 hr work week only time for 2 classes :(
Oh, I always like these threads. Its so interesting to see what everyone is studying.
I'm taking:
CSCC51H3 Numerical Approximation, Integration and Ordinary Differential Equations
Analysis of methods for approximation, integration, and the solution of ordinary differential equations. Emphasis on the convergence and stability properties of the algorithms, rather than on their implementation.
MATB61H3 Linear Programming and Optimization
Linear programming, simplex algorithm, duality theory, interior point method; quadratic and convex optimization, stochastic programming; applications to portfolio optimization and operations research.
MATC46H3 Differential Equations II
Sturm-Liouville problems, Green's functions, special functions (Bessel, Legendre), partial differential equations of second order, separation of variables, integral equations, Fourier transform, stationary phase method.
STAB52H3 An Introduction to Probability
A mathematical treatment of probability. The topics covered include: the probability model, density and distribution functions, computer generation of random variables, conditional probability, expectation, sampling distributions, weak law of large numbers, central limit theorem, Monte Carlo methods, Markov chains, Poisson processes, simulation, applications. A computer package will be used.
And I'll be TAing for:
ASTA02H3 Introduction to Astronomy and Astrophysics II: Beyond the Sun and Planets
This course uses the basis developed in ASTA01H to extend consideration to all stars, galaxies and the universe. The structure and evolution of stars and galaxies is considered, with our own galaxy, the Milky Way, providing the opportunity for detailed study of a well-observed system. Even this system challenges us with many unanswered questions, and the number of questions increases with further study of the universe and its large-scale. Current models and methods of study of the universe will be considered. The course is suitable for both science and non-science students.
I'm really not looking forward to that differential equations course. Blech, differential equations is so much memorisation.
And, this is my LAST SEMESTER of my B.Sc. I can't believe it. I've applied to do a 1 year B.Ed. next year which would qualify me to be a highschool teacher. Its pretty hard to get in though, but I'm hoping.
congrats Kyamo!
