My partner and I are both vegan. He's Jewish; I'm not. I've been invited to his family's Hannukah celebration; I feel like I should bring something, but I have no idea what. I also have finals next week, so I don't have the time for any elaborate projects. Any suggestions?

you can make yummy vegan Latka and vegan matza ball soup! I LOVE Hannukah!!
Yeah latkas are just potato pancakes, which I am pretty sure use butter or something but you can probably subsitute for vegetable oil. And matzo ball soup would be easy to do also if you used vegetable stock instead of chicken stock, and if there is an egg subsitute you could use that for the actual matzo balls. Also, if you have ever had kugel it is really good, its noodles, raisins, walnuts, sugar and butter basically. I googled vegan kugel and found a bunch of stuff, so maybe you could do that too. Good luck, and enjoy eating all the good food!
