For those who are in a relationship (or in several), what are you all doing for Valentine's Day?
I came home this morning to my partner making breakfast for me, and tonight we're going have a candle light dinner and check out a movie from the library. I feel very loved and happy we found something romantic to do without having to spend money.

i didn't get anything yet. but i think i'm going to be getting a little something. this Vday is wayyyyyyy less exiting/fancy than previous years. oh well
We aren't doing anything until the weekend, that way it can be a v-day/so's b-day dinner(he's gonna be 32), save some $$$ if we just join them together...lol.
i took my significant self out to get my hair cut and highlighted. Hooray!
Also, I sent a little quartet of marching band kids to play love me tender in marching band garb for my SO while he was at work. It was more of an embarassing prank than anything else. We did get a cake out of it, and the proceeds go to a good cause.
Well, this is the first time in a long time I've had an SO over v-day. I told him I didn't want to set the precident that we had to spend a lot of money or go through a lot of stress over this. When we were together over monday/tuesday night, he was getting me a PDA (that he was buying so I'd stop carrying around this journal I use, lol) and I told him that that would do for the holiday. He ended up getting me this wicked pair of boots anyway to replace the ones that were stolen from me at christmas, and he got me a really sweet card and some chocolate covered cherries.
I've been a bad girlfriend, I haven't gotten him his present yet, but I did buy him a mushy card because he's a total softie and he loves stuff like that. :)
I was my own Valentine. I spent all day telling myself how much I love myself and took myself for some yummy goat milk ice cream.
my so took me out to dinner and bought me some really sexy lingerie that I have been eyeing at fredericks!
Off-topic, but I thought you were vegan?
I don't have an SO, but the guy I work with on wednesdays just got dumped yesterday by his girlfriend so we made pizza at work and complained about how dumb valentines day is :D
I was! for five years. I developed a wheat allergy recently though and it was way to hard for me to figure out how to be wheat free and vegan. I will probably go back at some point but for now, I've added dairy (mostly goat) and egg and I've been eating small amounts of chicken/fish.
Yah, my friend in Minneapolis went from vegan to vegetarian b/c she developed a wheat allergy and has this rare stomach problem. She went back to vegan a few months after I did. She's been doing alright, but she says it's really hard!
i got roses, wine and chocolate for so and put it on the passengers side seat of the car so that when i went to pick him up, the present was right there.
we went to a free movie at a local movie theatre and brought a friend along because she didnt want to spend valentines alone. it wasnt too terribly romantic, but still fun nonetheless
my chicky brought me chocolates and flowers (how cliche! i fucking love it) and we had mad valentines' day sex.
I gave her a card and some chocolate-covered strawberries that i'd made myself. mmmmm.
such a good valentines' day :D
