So moving to Grand Forks, I am excited because I have finally a more focused view on why I am here. I am going to get a Bachelor's Degree at UND, save some money, pay off bills, focus on getting things good. I was thinking of once I start working (I am looking for a job like crazy!), to save up a ton of money, do extra jobs for and with my dad, get some bills paid off and quit my job in the fall when school starts. Then I would use my work study grant to work ON campus, go to school full time and use the rest of my loans and grants to help pay for other bills. I would also be eligible for some assistance and Lyric would be Kindergarten in the fall, so I wouldn't have to be paying as much for child care. I have a bunch of money saved up, I am still expecting my MN state tax and MN property tax over the next few months, which would go into savings ... so yah. I also think that this would help me focus on Lyric more, too because I would have more time during the day on campus to work on homework and after school, my time could be more on her.
While in Minneapolis, it was really hard and hectic for me to work a great paying job 30 hours a week, go to school full-time and be a mama. At least with this, I can focus on my kid more and focus on college. I talked to my sister about this and she thinks it's a great idea. My dad a while ago, also said he'd help out watching Lyric a night a week if I got a serving job or something. Although I need to talk about this plan with him (grrr ... haha)
I think it's a good idea. I would like some feedback, though :)

sounds good! you sound really positive about your decision now. getting into school was probably a huge weight off your shoulders hey? but try not to overload your plate too much with extra extra jobs and such. you need YOU time too. plus its pretty much a full time job anyways just being as fabulous as you are...
not trying to be negative, just watch for the burn out. make sure you include some room for "do nothing" in your plan!

I think it sounds like a good plan too. I've been thinking of doing the same thing.
Going to school and working and being a parent is really hard and if you can take out the working part, I think you should go for it.
Good luck. :)
That sounds awesome!
