i was just referred to this place from another board that i'm active on. basically, i'm here because i will be a new mom in december and i can use any advice and stories of experience as possible!
i just tested positive with 4 pregnancy tests last friday and according to due date calenders, i'm due mid december. i am 20 years old, engaged and living in austin working full time. my fiance and i are super excited about this, but since it was not planned, we're also a little nervous.
i would really like to get to know and talk to all the women on here and share experiences.

Fiore - Hey, mama! Welcome to girlmom. I'm in Austin, too, though I live kind of in the South-central part. Are you actually in Georgetown, or in North Austin? I'm happy to cross town to meet another girlmom, though, and my son's daycare is in North Austin anyway. I'm also happy to drive out to Georgetown sometime, I used to live there so I've got a lot of friends in that area who I've been meaning to visit. yes, i'm right in georgetown! i just moved here about 9 months ago to be with my fiance while he finished school. i'm originally from the tyler area, but he grew up out here. i would LOVE to meet up with the austin girls. though, i don't know my way around austin to save my life, so if you were ever to come out by round rock or georgetown, you could definitely call me and we could figure something out :D i'll PM you back.
