and i have no idea why! i dont know if i'm eating for comfort since or because i'm lonely, or if i'm just really hungry. i've been so hungry that i thought i might have been pregnant even tho i havent had sex in ages. i dont know what it is tho. i mean, i'm not just like snacking...i'm eating meals...and meals...AND MORE MEALS! i find myself being so hungry that it wakes me out of my sleep and if i try to fight the feeling to eat...i get so nauseous and i start shaking. what could it be? am i really hungry, or could my mind be playing tricks on me?

Hmmm ... what kinds of foods have you been eating? Sometimes you might just need more water when you feel hungry or maybe just eat some fruit or veggies. That is what I do when I feel that way. Do you take vitamins? The shakes thing, though - I get that way when I am really really hungry ... or when I have taken too many hits of my inhaler (haha) ... my dad is hypoglycemic and he gets that way really bad.
I would definetely talk to your Dr.
I'm hypoglycemic, and that sounds like me..... When I get a tummy growl, I have to be able to eat..... 15 minutes later and I will be ill, if I have not eaten something with substance..... and if I eat something "junkie" it has to be eaten with something substantial, or my blood sugar spikes, and then drops rapidly, and I'm sick again.
It could be nothing, just maybe you not eating "good" snacks, and your body being hungry, or it could be something more serious, you know?
Better safe then sorry!
Are you nursing? I was always starving while nursing..
do you drink enough liquids? specifically, water? i have read reports that estimate we are usually dehydrated when we feel that "starving" sensation, yet we mistake it for hunger and so we eat too much. try to sip water all day, and next time you feel burning hungry, drink a glass of water first (assuming it's not legit, like a meal time.)
it's worth a try!
am still nursing that happens to me sometimes so maybe that why
yeah i'm still nursing, so that could be a part of it. and i might need to up my liquid intake.
i agree with the nursing thing if your still nursing. I eat so much, way way way more than i ever did before joshua and im hungry all the time i never feel full. i think talking to your doctor is a good idea though.
Nursing is probably what's causing it, but are you on any medications? You probably aren't, since you're nursing, but I had the same insatiable hunger when I was on Celexa. It was awful. I had to bring food everywhere, woke up hungry, and got shaky and faint if I didn't eat. It went away when I quit the med.
