How do you lose weight?
Mind sharing?
Cos i determined to go on a diet!!!
haha... But in a way i cant resist the food oh my.

Okay, here's the thing..
Do you know how to lose weight without affecting the breast goes smaller?
Because.....
When i was 14, i go on a diet, from 70+kg until now, 58kg and i am 170cm tall. And i need to lose more weight to look more slim and firm and of cos healthy. So i felt that my breast is abit small for my size because i on diet too early i guess.

Another thing,
What food did you usually eat when u go on a diet? oatmeal? fruits? no meats? veges?

I did aerobics to lose weight, will aerobics make my body or legs looks too over strong and tough that kinda feelings? what exercise u do? yoga? swimming? anyway to teach me to lose more weight? ^^ thanks. :)

Just a heads up that when talking about weight here it's a guideline that members should not use numbers, height, weight, BMI, size, etc. Because what you may feel is "too big" another member might be perfectly comfortable at, as well as we have members recovering/recovered from EDs and keeping numbers out just helps take away the triggers.

but i just wanted to know the way to lose more weight and what to eat, what exercise and all. thanks.

You have to burn more calories than you eat in order to lose weight. Its a good idea to look for foods that are high in protien low in fat. Also pay attention to the calories and grams of sugar in the beverages you are drinking, it can really add up fast! One thing I try to do is not drink any calories, besides coffee which has like what, 5 calories. So basically just water. For exercise you should have an elevated heart beat and maintain it for 20 minutes or more. If you have a heart rate monitor, you lose weight when you reach 65% of your max heart rate. You can find out what the max is supposed to be by subtracting your age from 220.

I took arobic conditioning last semester, can you tell? :)

I've been looking into weight loss. This is what I've come up with:

firstly before starting a big weight loss mission, make sure you're doing it for the right reasons. If your not, your more likely to not follow through with your plan. Don't do it for a guy. Do it for your own health.

So first you need a plan and a positive attitude.

If you're pretty out of shape, I recommend figuring out how many calories you consume on a regular basis and cutting 500 calories. Get about half an hour of excersize a day at least 5 days a week. If you can find time to do an hour, that would be even better. Thats a good way to start.

Drink a glass of skim milk in the morning to boost your metabolism. If you can find a tea with dandelion in it at a health-food store, drink that after supper to cleanse the liver (it will help you sleep and rest too, and to get all the junk outta your system). Then basically try to stick to water all day. If you grow sick of the taste of water, add lemon or lime. Or, do one part unsweetened cranberry juice to 3 parts water. Cranberry juice is high in fiber.

Fiber is really important in weight loss. Learn to love beans and spinach and eat them regularly. Buy %100 whole grain bread, and whole grain pastas. Keep breached white wheat products out of the house. Change your portion sizes. If you eat meat, it should be the smallest portion, then a whole grain carb, and the largest portion should be a vegetable.

Eat slowly. It takes your brain 20 minutes to figure out that the stomach is full. If you eat too quickly, you'll have consumed too much before you even feel full.

Desserts equal fruits

Don't snack late at night. Instead opt to wake up hungry and have a good breakfast which will also boost your metabolism. Eventually you get switched around so that you wont even be hungry at night, you'll be tired and ready for sleep.

Keep things as natural as possible in your house. Diet pills and other such bars and drinks are usually just gimmicks who target people with low self esteem who are desperate to lose weight. Some will work, but probebly wont help you keep it off in the long run. A change in lifestyle though, will help you lose the weight and keep it off.

Don't keep junk food in your house. It's too much temptation.

Thats been a VERY important thing for me and my family. If its not there you wont tempt it. If you tempt it, its more work to go to the store and buy some junk when you can just eat the healthy stuff you have stocked up.

Find different fun recipes for fruits and vegetables. I found an awesome one yesterday. Ill post it. Try new foods that are healthy. :)

as in chocolates cakes and cheese cakes all that?? woah... hehehe

i still have another question.
Can i do sit up when i'm having menstrual and cramps? thanks :lol:

No that doesnt mean Chocolate cake is dessert. It means for dessert instead of eating chocolate cake eat FRUIT. :)

Yes you can just take an easy.
