Child support and visitation

So, Luckily the program i work for is hugely funded by the OAG- Texas Child support division. And it has really payed off.

BD sued me for custody 3 years ago. But lost all of his visitation. He has only payed child support to me 2 times in the past almost 5 years. I want to limit his visitation to supervised and get him back on child support with back pay and interest.

I re-filed for child support about 6 months ago and the Attny Generals office has not been able to get ahold of BD to set up a court date. i have been terrified of going back to court because he is going to try to get visitation even though he is abusive- and cannot competently care for a child, let alone two 4 year olds.

I had a meeting with our child support guy and he looked over my case and said that with the evidence we had that BD could fight for visitation but that no judge would grant him time alone with the kids. and that they could re-set his child support payments which would be about $310 a month plus back pay and 6% interest on over 15,000.

I just got a letter in the mail today and it should all be set up within a month or two! I am so excited!!! I feel so relieved that the stress of worrying about my kiddos safety with BD's family will finally be over! I am so sick of dealing with their BS. And it is going to be so great to finally have everything settled and over and i might even get some money from his sorry ass- i fucking deserve it too!
