Blake has the worst diaper rash i have ever seen, he has open oozing sores on his bottom and thighs, he was with my grandparents and they didn't realize he pooped and well yah. I have been putting butt paste and burts bees on it but i don't know what else to do, we have also been doing naked time.
Just keep him as dry as possible and air him out. If it's nice out, putting his butt in the sun can really help a lot.
Ouch! Sounds like your doing everything you can for it.. but Keep an eye on it tho.. if it doesnt clear, take him in.. it could be a bacterial rash in which case antibiotic cream or even oral antibiotics may be necessary.
a good otc yeast cream always helped riley.. and open air time is always the best
I got this stuff from the doc when E had bad diaper rash as a baby, its called lobana. Also, just plain vaseline works pretty well to protect it from getting worse.
