pregnant?

getting up to pee in the night (which never happens)
heartburn (do not get often and i've had it a lot this week)
hemrroid started bothering me again
boobs sore (never ever happens except when i was pregnant)
spotted last week
migraine at the beginning of this week

does it sound like i'm pregnant to you?

i am freaking out a little bit... except that i got my period this month on march 13.. but if i ignore that fact i would be 6 weeks pregnant and dead on for typical symptoms... will take a home test tomorrow i suppose and will let ya'll know...

i definitely don't want to be pregnant right now.. but i just dont know if i could go through with an abortion. ugh i guess i need to stop worrying about it until i take a test.

The only way to know is to take a test. Keep us updated.

Re: pregnant?

i did ... negative!!... so relieved! I just want to be able to like commit to this relationship with the boyfriend and get married and live together before having another baby (#3 since we each have one already).

so i guess all those symptoms just have to do with being sick at the beginning of the month and taking a bunch of meds and the weather changing and yatta yatta.

Re: pregnant?

On the whole subject on abortions, I have made a packed with myself that if I get pregnant again before I was absolutely ready to have another child I would make an appointment right away at the local clinic. My pregnancy with m was horrid, money has been a constant issue since she was born, I'm alone with her 5 nights out of the week - and at 11 months she still wakes up four times a night and now my new job is making life so difficult my partner and I never see each other. It would be difficult to do - as it is for all women, but for my sanity I think I'd have to go through with the abortion. The next time I have a child I so badly want it to be out of my own choice when all is right. That is my dream pregnancy.

Re: pregnant?

yeah... as much as i don't want to have a baby right now... it would be way too "easy" for us to have one right now. we have all the baby stuff we need, including clothes, i have insurance, he makes decent money... so i think i would have a really hard time getting an abortion knowing we COULD do it. Honestly, we just need to be more conscience of using birth control and just act more responsibly. we know we don't want another right now so we should use the damn birth control! haha

my dream pregnancy is as described... committed relationship, married even, financially stable enough for me to stay home for at least a year.

Glad you got the result you want! I think it's totally normal when you have very young ones to not want any more for awhile. They are just so needy when they're small.

Re: pregnant?

I'd go see a doctor if I were you. I don't know how old you are, but it could just be an irregular period. Sometimes that's indicative of nothing, sometimes it's indicative of a larger problem. I wouldn't think you were pregnant if your tests are still negative after 2 months. Most false negatives happen when you're taking the test too soon. I had 2 false negatives with my son because I just KNEW I was pregnant, and took the tests way too soon. Two missed periods is not too soon for a pregnancy test.

There's a slim chance you're pregnant, but I wouldn't go around telling people because it's much more likely something else is going on. I don't know what your relationship with your parents is like (can you tell your mom you're 2 months late, and had negative tests so you definitely don't think you're pregnant?) but to get to a gyn, if you need them to take you and don't want to confess you're sexually active (because at this point confessing to pregnancy wouldn't be the right thing to do) you can say you're in pain or having strange discharge, or something like that.

Another good thing to do is relax and stop stressing about it. I know that's easier said than done, but stress can affect your period.

Re: pregnant?

It's good that you can talk to your mom about being sexually active. If you are pregnant, you have options over what to do with the pregnancy, but the first step is to find out for sure. Keep us updated!
