Hey all! MamaTessa here! I've been on here off and on since 2003 when I had my son Ian at the age of 15. I dealt with crazy step dad and trying to raise my son away from a dad who actually wanted to be a part of his life. When my mom left him in 2004 we got back together and have been together ever since. I had our second son in Aug 2006 just a few months after we got married the previous March. I came back onto Girl-Mom until the crash in 2007. I miss it so much every single day! I was pregnant with my daughter and dealing with severe health issues and the death of my brother in law and was struggling without the support. We've since gotten back on our feet. My husband has dealt (and is still dealing to this day) with the death of his brother and as been clean off of pain pills ever since. He still struggles with mental health issues but is controlling it all quite well. I've been diagnosed and since cleaned up off of pain pills myself (although whether I like it or not I still ocassionally end back on them as I have a disorder that causes me to dislocate a lot although I'm trying other methods as well). I was diagnosed with a collagen defect called Ehlers-Denlos Syndrome Type 3. And have a long road ahead of me although I'm trying to stay as positive as I know how. My oldest son Ian was also diagnosed and Kiara will have to be watched closely as she is showing signs as well. I'm still a stay at home mom and Critter is plumbing although he is getting ready to apply to the police academy as his dream is to be a detective. I still live in Show Low Arizona but am looking to move to Tucson for more health and job opportunities. I've recently gotten active in my church and am getting ready to be baptized. Its an amazing church that is extremely supportive and the women's group is a blessing. I'm so glad to be back especially since I feel I've grown so much these last several years and am looking forward to helping the younger mamas who are just starting out as I was helped when I was there. I hope we can get this site up and going again as its such an amazing resource and I"m looking forward to getting to know everyone again and catching up with old friends!
