From your experience, when is the best time to introduce whole milk to a baby? Caroline is 10 months and since my supply seems to not satisfy her as much and because I can't pump enough, I am going to have to suppliment with a bottle once in awhile. She is 10 months. I was wondering if I should just go ahead and put her on whole milk or do formula? I have given her one bottle of formula and she sucked it down but it made her poop really soft. I am going to call her doctor also but I wanted to what everyones experience was with give their baby whole milk at this age.

When to give whole milk

I think the standard age to introduce babies to whole milk is 12 months--that's what I've always heard, and that's when my son's pediatrician said to switch him from formula to whole milk. Hope that helps! :)
They say not to give cows untill there a year but im not going to give any, since there is no real need for another species milk, as long as they have water, juices and even a tiny bit of breastmilk there great :)
just wanted to add.......juice isn't necessary either. :)
true but some people freak on the idea of just water so I add that so they have more options
I dont plan to give much juice and I dont trust things like juicy juice since studys a few years back showed they did add extra sugar so Ill only buy juice from my trusty organic indian store :) But my daughter is 4 months so I have a long time to wait
