I think their was a topic on this already, but I couldnt find it. I was wondering what are some of your favorite names for boys and girls? I've been thinking about names, even though its a little early hehe, and i have a few that I like.

These are my favorite names, yes, I am 100% sure this is what I will name my kid(s)...steal them...and feel my wrath. :wink:
For a girl-- Lilith Adeline (Lilith for Adam's first wife...I am and EXPERT on her, know all the myths, there origins, their reasons, the psychological subtext behind them...which I'm writing my thesis on, and Adeline because it was Virginia Woolf's first name. I'd call her Lily for short because Lily Bart is the main character in my favorite book, The House Of Mirth
For a boy--Lewis, um I can't think of a middle name, but the name "Lewis" has been in my family for hundreds of years, even girls sometimes end up with it as a middle name, so that's what it will be.

i like the classic names - james, joshua, nicholas. but they have to be the full name and not shortened.
Me and Josh have been putting alot of thought into smoe names, well i've been putting alot of thought into names.
We were thinking that if it is a boy the of course his first name would be Joshua, I finally agreed to that, but he still wants it to be his full name. (Am I wrong for not wanting to use his name?) And the middle name would be Paul(his middle name), Alexander, Caleb, Cyrus, Iyare or Gabriel. I still love the name Basil, but oh well. If it's a girl we're thinking Arianna, Cenai, Diamond, Gabriella, Kalia, or Noelle for the first name, and we still have nothing for the second.
Girls- Jenna Kaye, Kayla Christine, Meadow, Kylie (Riley and Kylie is really cute don't ya think?), Stephanie, Ellie, Abbey.
Boys- Jack, Mason, Tyler, Simon, Jackson, Steven. I like the name Randy, but it's only one of my ok names. He was named that after his Daddy, cuz he was born on his birthday.
Girls- Kaydence, Karisma (like the word Charisma , but i like it spelled with a K), Mallory, Ariana
Boys- Aiden, Ryan (duhhh lol... ), Mason, Daniel

Marissa is my name - so a warning: EVERYONE will try to give the girl a nickname - usually missy. So unless you like missy or rissa or ris, it's not a good name. It has taken me years to get my friends to consistently use my full name.
Personally for boys I like old-fashioned names and Gaelic names. Hence my Liam Merlin Edward.

Letti that reminds me of TLC's What Not To Wear, the makeup artist on the show is named "Carmandy" (with the emphasis on the Car part, not the mandy, so it's like CAR-mindy) and I always thought it was a beautiful name.
I guess I won't be selfish, ;) and I'll put two names that I really love but was scared of putting up cause I'm going to be using one of them when we have a daughter, or both if we have two daughters, but in case you like em too and might want to use one:

I actually thought about naming Niko, Orion insted. I mean I really really considered it. I also considered naming him Camden and Tommie Cambree. But for whatever reason I didnt but I still love all of those names. I think Orion is really unique and cute!

Eowyn Beatrix for a girl.
Luke is for Star Wars and Allen is Jude's middle name.
Eowyn from LOTR and Beatrix from Kill Bill. I thought that would be really fucking rad because those two characters were some bad ass women.
Thought I'd share a few more names that my sister used for her children that I thought were just some kick ass names.
My niece's name is Kalina, pronounced Cah-Len-ah, I've always thought it was super pretty.
My nephew's name is Carter, which is also really cute. And then she has another son, Christian, which is a little less unique but still very cute.
