Went back at about 9:00pm after casually finishing my Dominos Pizza (I knew I wasn't going to be eating for awhile...who cares if they advise against it!). I was 4cm dialated and about 6:30am Aria Elizabeth arrived!
12. Did you give birth vaginally or by C-section? How long was your labor? I did it vaginally. I was really contracting for about an hour or two before I got the epidural in which after that I couldn't feel any pain. I pushed for about 15 minutes.
13. How was the first year? It was tough, but well worth it. If you have a good support team, it makes it a lot easier. Don't be scared to ask for help!
14. Would you change anything? I would only change one thing. I would want to be more connected to my body while giving birth. The dosage of my epidural was too high. I couldn't even feel myself pushing.

Not as stressful as the following two, but I was a single mama for a few months in the middle. It was hard, but having her with me the whole time made it a lot easier.

I would have been more prepared to prevent the travesty that was the way my doctor handled my labor. Talked to nurses and my husband BEFORE being drugged up and tried the water birth that I wanted to, but didn't get to.

Eh. I want to be pregnant again and, as crazy as it sounds, I want to go through labor again, just so I don't get screwed out of any of it like the first time. And that's how far I get in the thinking process before Laila breaks something or stains something or pitches a fit and I'm reminded: Probably not.

I wasn't even 2cm dialated so they dont admit patients that early. but the "cramps" i was having since Tuesday were technically contractions. When I gave birth that Friday.

2. What was your reaction when you found out you were pregnant? My hands started shaking and I cried a little bit. I was nervous, but extremely happy after my nerves settled. What a great birthday surprise! Yes, I found out I was preggo on my Bday.

Went to the hospital about 3:00pm and they sent me home. Went back at about 9:00pm after casually finishing my Dominos Pizza (I knew I wasn't going to be eating for awhile...who cares if they advise against it!). I was 4cm dialated and about 6:30am Aria Elizabeth arrived!
12. Did you give birth vaginally or by C-section? How long was your labor? I did it vaginally. I was really contracting for about an hour or two before I got the epidural in which after that I couldn't feel any pain. I pushed for about 15 minutes.
13. How was the first year? It was tough, but well worth it. If you have a good support team, it makes it a lot easier. Don't be scared to ask for help!
14. Would you change anything? I would only change one thing. I would want to be more connected to my body while giving birth. The dosage of my epidural was too high. I couldn't even feel myself pushing.
15. Do you plan on anymore children? Of course. Children are what keep me going. I want a big family. Aria needs a baby brother or sister to play with! Maybe even 3 or 4 more...who knows.

Not as stressful as the following two, but I was a single mama for a few months in the middle. It was hard, but having her with me the whole time made it a lot easier.

I would have been more prepared to prevent the travesty that was the way my doctor handled my labor. Talked to nurses and my husband BEFORE being drugged up and tried the water birth that I wanted to, but didn't get to.

Eh. I want to be pregnant again and, as crazy as it sounds, I want to go through labor again, just so I don't get screwed out of any of it like the first time.
