I am 11 weeks pregnant, and I have noticed some browish colored blood on my toilet paper. It started this morning when I went to the bathroom, I wiped myself and noticed a little on my toilet paper. I thought nothing of it. But when I went to the bathroom a couple of hours later, there was more on my underwear, along with some mild cramping, is this bad, or normal. Please help!! This never happened in my first pregnancy.
The blood plus the cramping sounds like it might be indicative of a problem. Call your OB/GYN or care provider and see what they say...it might be nothing, but that way you'll be sure of what's going on. Good luck!
Brown discharge is old blood. But you are early on, so I would call your OB/GYN. YOu can never be too carful. Cramping is common in the first trimester though. I hope all is well!
If you had sex a few days ago it could very well be from that. Brown blood is old blood. You should call your doc just to let them know, but most likley they will just tell you to keep your next prenatal appt, or they might tell you to schedule one if you haven't. My docs didn't think there was ANY way possible that my pregnancy with Kayla would go to viability (not term, viability, as in they thought I would have a late miscarriage), but as I type this she is sitting on my lap noisily sucking her fingers. She is 7months old and about 11pounds. She's small but she's here.
I just went to the bathroom and now the blood is turning pinkish. I will call my doc and see whats up. :?
Pinkish is more worrisome. Call him tonight and wake him up. Make him work hard for that beamer!!!
