You can eat cheese when your pregnant. There are certain kinds or cheese to stay away from though which are:
-Brie
-Goat
-Feta
-Blue
-Camembert
You can still have your chedder, motzerella, and jack cheese. You can eat the shredded and block cheese while pregnant. Just stay away from those cheeses I listed above.
You can eat macaroni and cheese. It's usually cheddar cheese. You can eat all hard cheeses, it's only the soft cheeses Momx4 listed that can be harmful. If you eat homemade mac and cheese it will usually be sharp and mild cheddar cheeses which are ok, and if you eat boxed mac and cheese like Kraft or storebrand they are also cheddar. It is also ok to eat Velvetta mac and cheese while you are pregnant.
If you get on WIC when you are pregnant they will give you a list of cheeses you can buy with your vouchers and all of those are safe cheeses. Cheese is good for you and a great way to get calcium and protien while you are pregnant - homemade mac and cheese will give you more than the box kind.

I had no problem staying away from the soft cheeses because I didn't really like them. I had cheese almost everyday when I was pregnant.
what if you do eat those cheeses that you arent supposed to? I think i might have eaten brie once or twice :shock:

I craved cheese a lot while I was pregnant with Raegan, but b/c I'm a vegan I just ate that nasty soy imitation cheese, lol.
