what kind of STD? when i've donated blood they haven't asked about anything except HIV and Hepatitis risk. Perhaps syphilis could affect it, but I don't think HPV or Herpes would.
I only donated blood to just donate blood though, not for bone marrow. those standards may be stricter. you can always call the blood bank or hospital you'd be going to and ask though.
My friend who has cancer needed bone marrow donations, so everyone in my family donated (I couldnt because I was underage). They didnt ask about anything besides HIV/AIDS so i think it kind of depends on what kind of STD it is. I'd call and find out just to be sure though.
