Those are beautiful poems. I'm sorry you are going through such a hard time right now. I wasn't in custody for very long, but my first bd was pretty much his whole life so I know how hopeless it can be when everyone is telling you you can't succeed. You will succeed, and you don't have to prove yourself to anyone. You seem like such a strong determined person. Don't let them get you down. Feel good about yourself, don't lose yourself, because if you do you will be letting all the forces against you win. Rise up, be thoughtful, be patient, and you will prevail in the end. I know it seems hard right now, and it seems hopeless, but soon you will be free to make your own choices, and you will regain the control in your life. You are a beautiful writer. You shouldn't say your poems aren't very good, because they are very heartfelt. You're right you tried, and you succeeded in painting a beautiful picture with so few words. You remind me of myself a few years back, and I hope all the best for you. Please continue to post and know that even if we don't agree with all of the decisions you make in your life, we are here for you and here to support you. The only thing I have to say about TTC is, while considering the pros and cons, think hard about the pain it would cause you and your baby to be separated at birth. It could be so unbearable, and if you want to improve your life sometimes you just have to wait. That is a hard lesson, and I wish I learned it long ago, but I am still learning it today. Keep your head up, sweety.
