Bray and Christian will be starting day care next week. Bray has never been cared for by anyone outside of my family I am a little concerened about what will happen. How do you deal with leaving your children at day care. Should he see me leave? I have many other questions but Christian is gettting fussy.

Riley goes to day care while Im at school..the day care is at a building which is associated with mys chool district and I take a couple classes over there and am able to see her at lunch time so it helps a lot to have that interaction during the day. Different kids act differently depending on their age. Riley doesnt seem to mind a whole lot but shes soo young. My friends son is 2 and he HATES being left..it might be the age or maybe he just doesnt like it. Either way, make sure the day care is compatible with your child. Good luck!
He will be 22 months on the 27th. He can be shy with other people that he doesn't know, but after he is with them for a while he warms up. He just has never really been with strangers when I wasn't there.
Brayden and Christian are starting Monday. Did anyone notice any changes in their kids when they started? Where they good or bad changes? Really nervous about Brayden starting!! Worried and sad too.
Yes, definitely say good bye and let them know you are leaving. If you can visit the daycare a few times before, do it. Good luck ,I know it's hard. Mine has been going to day care for almost two years; Daycare is NOT bad for kids, so try not feel bad about it or worry about it. They'll soon get used to the new routine.
we did daycare for the first time today! Normally my mom watches him, but he's going to have to start going to the daycare I work at (not in the same room or see me at all though) off and on.. anyways.. Xan has visited twice since he was a baby and he totally loved it.. my co-workers little girls had her 2nd day and is the same age and cried the whole day though :( Guess it's all about each childs temperment... I have to say thought Xander is pooped! He came home and feel asleep on the couch at 5:30 lol!
Good luck with the daycare, hope everything goes smoothly :)
Bray and Christian are at day care right now. It was really hard leaving them! As soon as I got back in the car I started crying!! I can't believe my little man is growing up!
*hugs* my daughter has been at a home day care since she 6 weeks old. She has been really great and has yet to fuss when I leave her except for the occassional tear. Some children actually really love it. They get so much interaction, play time, and arts n crafts, who wouldn't think it was fun. Day care is not bad, you just have to find a center that works for you.
