If anyone knows anything about anything! please tell me i need to graduate and get a job. Thank you ! ( p.s I also live in Wisconsin so if anyone knows about Wisconsin Homeschooling that'd be awsome! thanks!!!! ) :D

someone anyone ??!
I'm not sure if this will help you, but nice no one else replied, you can atleast look into it. My boyfriend does an online program for a high school diploma. (He dropped out in his senior year.) I don't know if you would be able to take just some credits or not tho. He paid like $15 for his highschool to get the transcripts transfered so he didn't need to do as many. The website is www.educationdirect.com and the it is the thompson high school program. I'm sure you could call or email them and ask questions.
Thank you.. is this site for homeschooling online ? it looks like it could work
Talk to a guidence counselor in your school. Call up and they'll give you the nessacery info.
I'm going to start homeschooling now and there is so much to know!
You can either have teachers come to your house and teach you or have your parents do it [it really takes no effort for them. They'll tell you to read a book, do some worksheets etc.]
But, if you want teachers to come to the house, you need to have a medical reason. I couldn't get one for myself because they didn't think my reason was good enough [my depression which is why I dropped out.]
Call up and explain to your guidence counselor that you just had a baby and need some time off with her. If they can't let you do that, then you have to go with your parents.
Your parents can teach you most things but not math. So, you'll have to take a soph. math class again next year.
I hope things work out!
thanks. i have talked to my guidance councelor and they really didn't have much to say i got a number to call and that didn't help us out. i want to do my homework online but.. idk where and how to get started.
Hey Caitster, I responded to your other thread in Greetings & Salutations.
Check out this page and their links:

You might want to check the internet to see if there is a internet based school in your area. My son goes to school on-line. It is a charter school that has nothing to do with the local schools. But the school district that we live in does offer on-line classes now too. So you might want to check that out if you haven't found anything. I noticed that you posted these a couple of months ago.

My friend went rhough Education Direct, its a homeschool time thing that u do online and stuff. They send you your books, have 24 help, etc.
I home schooled myself my first semester of my sophomore year of high school. The program was through the district. I had to go in one day every week to collect supplies, turn in my work, and once I had to watch LORD OF THE FLIES.
i still haven't found anything for homeschooling and have been out of school for 4 months now .. i want to go back to school a complete junior not sophmore-junior.. hmm. my mom went through education direct to send us something but they didn't and that was about a month ago. they said it would come in 7 days.. so i live in Wiconsin and want something through there. please help! thanks :)

You need to do serious web searching, homeschooling will not just be handed to you. There are TONS of WI homeschooling support groups, message boards and list of people you can ask info from. Go to one of these and either post a question or email anyone you can find and ask for any info they have on how to get you started.
You can also look up the WI institute of public education, or get the # to the superintendent of your distrect from your HS. In order to get a diploma you will have to go through an accredited program which cost money.
I know when I was homeschooling (this was many many years ago) we used a program called Calvert.
I can ask my parents more about it, or you can see if a Google search will help.
As I understand it, the school HAS TO, by law, provide you with an education if you are unable to attend school, but I could be wrong.
