The second time I used the damn thing, one of the pumps quit working! You wear them in your bra (it's a Whisper Wear pump), and they pump the milk out. You can be active while pumping and everything (why I bought the pump), and you don't have to keep anything exposed. Thats why I really liked it, plus it's very gentle, and pretty effective. But the second time i used it, one of the motors (I guess thats the problem part) just went funny then stopped working all together. If you turn it off, then turn it back on, it will work 2-3 times (like 2-3 suction times) then sound funny and quit working. I don't have my invoice, do you think they will fix it? It's still under warranty, and they should know who bought one, but I'm worried that they won't fix it, and that I will be out over $200. Maybe I could try to find who I bought it through, and ask for a copy of the invoice, but I don't know if that will work. I bought an Avent Isis pump for the emergency period, but what do I do?

look on the net for the company, for the phone number and call them and explain that the pump is still under warenty and it broke after the second time you used it. Do you have the recept they might ak for it to see when you bought it. Goodluck.
Well, I went to my online bank acct thingy, found out when and where I bought it from, went to THAT website logged in, hit acct history, clicked last 6 mos, and found the invoice. So now I have the invoice, but still haven't been able to reach the company. I think they open at like 8 tomorow morning. I guess I can use the single pump, and just switch breasts almost continually (15 min on one, 15 min on the other, 15 more min on first, 15 more min on the second, then a hour break or two hour break then start the process all over again), I guess I'll have to figure something out, or I will lose my milk. Right now I don't think thats a prob, I think everything I am taking for milk supply is working.
Definately call the company, they should replace the broken part. When Chloe was at Riley Children's Hospital, they gave me a pump to use- I wonder if yours will too, at least for the time being. They even had a private pump room and everything, but since you still have the unbroken one- that may be easier for you. Good luck and you're doing a great job making sure Kayla gets the best!
The second one quit working also, so I emailed the company again, and then the next morning my hubby said it sounded like a dead battery to him, which was odd since I had replaced the batteries, and the pump didn't work at all. But the batteries were the cheap kind that the cable company gives out with the remotes. So I bought some energizer batteries, and the pump worked again. That was good. Anyway they called and I told them the prob. They should say in the booklet that not ALL AA batteries work. I would've tried that before I got all upset. Oh,well at least it's not really broken.
