.... School or what!

So im back in high school im suppose to be a senior but i failed 7th grade and when i got pregnant in 10th i left 2nd semester that year. I think some of you know that. But now im back in school as a sophomore/junior. I also have a job and go to school 5 days a week all day while kira is in daycare. My mom pays for daycare which is 90$ a week. I work mon. wed. and friday and every other weekend .. i work 5-9 on mon. wed. fri. so i dont see kira much during the week and its really sad. I get her on the weekends i dont work. and BD gets her on the weekends i work. so i really dont see much of her at all. and im getting really depressed and i feel like i have nothing to do with her and i've had it. so im going to go through the HSED program. but i was wondering if anyone who took it knows anything about it or if its hard or easy or how long it took to graduate. All i know is it goes from tues wed. thurs. to ... 9-12:30 so i can work a little more and spend more time with Kira. But i think i have to find a new daycare because she needs to be in it 20 hours a week and she wont be but i dont want to switch cuz i know her.. help please. sorry so long. thank you :)

I know in Ontario, we have a program designed for teen moms looking to finish high school. I think its called T.E.A.M. You go to school, WITH you child. They provide daycare, while you take classes, and on your breaks you are with you child.

Do they offer that where you are from?? Is that the program you are taking?? Something like that seems to have benifited many moms out there, who have to work AND look after little ones. The TEAM program also has a high rate of post secondary education. Hopefully your schoolboard offers something like that. I would talk to your guidance coucellor for sure!

There also was a school like the one acrane is speaking of in the town i went to school. The mothers and fathers were able to take classes and have their children on campus in daycare. The classes were set up so mothers could leave and go breast feed anytime...basicly open classes with instructors available when you needed them

I did not have a child when i was in high school but i ended up graduating from this school because i dropped out and went back to this "continuation" school to get my diploma,so i could graduate at 16.

It was great because i could work full time and go to the open class enviroment at anytimes. The children were able to walk with their parents at graduation, it was so cute!

You should definately look into somthing like that if it is offered!

Cool, I didn't know Brampton had schools like that. I was told that I go to the only one like that in Toronto & The G.T.A. I should tell my teacher that shes wrong.
I love my school because I see her all the time. I get to continue breastfeeding and when she misses me we can be together.
