oh mamas, I just saw the PERFECT apartment. It's one of the least expensive places I've looked at, it's right smack between bd's work and V's school, I love the neighborhood, and the place is an awesome size.
But someone else has dibs, and we probably won't get it. I'm sooooo bummed that we didn't see it sooner. I want to live there SO bad. We're gonna here from her today about whether or not we have a chance.

When I got my first apartment I had initially been turned down because they found someone else with better credit and more money. Then I just happened to be driving by and I visited the manager. The woman who was supposed to move in never called so I paid my deposit and moved in the same day! When the woman came by with her money the next day, they had already given it to me.
Be persistent, drop by, and even if the apartment is taken another may open up.
