I belive in LUST at first sight, and i think that you can have a serious crush on someone after not knowing them very long, but i think loves takes awhile to become, i guess you could say?

I believe you can feel a strong connection to someone the first time you meet them. And that connection might lead to a lasting relationship and love, but I don't think you can love someone without knowing them inside and out.

When I first met my fiance, I knew there was something different. I don't know if I would call it love at first sight or a knowledge of something better to come. If that makes any sense

well lust I guess. That's how I met my bd. I was like wow he's cute I want to kiss him....and we've been together since I did :D But still there IS something different. It was in the kiss though....not in the first sight...

Yea when I met BD i didnt even look at him, he was quite drunk and wouldnt leave me alone, I didnt even stop to look at him, but in the end sat with him and we ended up talking for about 3 hours that night, then he kissed me before I left and from then...there was something. I kind of knew it was different...im not sure how though.

ok.. had to get that out.

Oh no that's not the way, and you're not listening to all that I say.. :D

To answer the question- No. No love at first sight. A connection, maybe. Funny little "what if?" butterflies, sure. Lust, totally.

The only "love" at first sight I've felt was with my daughter and even then it took time to grasp the reality of parenting and my relationship with her and I had 9 months of planning and hoping and waiting to "fall in love."

I believe in it, but I'm just corny like that.

The first love of my life, I met when I was 12. I knew right away when I saw him that I'd love him. It wasn't lust, because really, I was notttt physically attracted to him at all, but I loved him with all my heart. We were together for 4 years, then I messed up and it ended, and we're still best friends, and I still will always love him.

I applaude you for having your own beliefs, but I'm not convinced hat love at first sight is real, except only in the movies. (I believe in lust at first sight)mwa!

The first time I saw my son after giving birth was love at first sight. (There are lots of kinds of love.) As for romantic love, I don't know, but I feel like if love at first sight is possible for one kind of love it should be for another kind of love too, ya know?

Well, had I seen this question a few months ago, I would've been like, "Oh yeah," but ummm, nope. That turned out to be a wayyyyyyyyy bad relationship, that I thought was "Love at first sight." So, I've learned that if I ever feel that way again, I'll turn around and run away from that person as fast as I can. LoL :?

IMO no. I dont think i looked at my husband and said thats the man for the rest of my life. Im not saying other people didnt do so. But i didnt.

I agree with some of the girls where they say lust yeah..hell yeah.."wudnt mind a bit of that arse in my grasp" and all that.

It's lust. The reason people can say they had love at first sight is after they know the person, they fall in love, maybe that lust never disappeared so the feelings all mesh together and become a blur in hindsight so you say "yeah, I think it was the minute I saw him/her."

I had a boyfriend like that. The connection and lust were blindingly amazing, and after we fell in love it was like we always had been.
