Every Thursday is me and Zoe's day together. I had a great day planned out for us today. We got all dressed up and were going to go to the co-op and get some lunch, to the bookstore and get some new books, and run around town a bit.
At the co-op she proceeded to run up and down the isles whining and screaming. I didn't have good shoes on, so I couldn't chase after her and she wouldn't come over to me or let me get ahold of her. I finally got her outside (we didn't get lunch), and I had to carry her kicking and screaming all the way to the car (two blocks away), and FORCE her into the car. She woudln't let me buckle her up, so I just let her sit in the car and scream for twenty minutes before I finally was able to buckle her up. She unbuckled her self and I grabbed her hand HARD and buckled her up again.
I finally got us home, her screaming all the way, and she is now banned to her room for a bit.
I'm so angry. I have never, ever been that close to spaking my kid. She was so out of controle and I thought that it would be the only way to make her pay attention. I didn't do it, but I was so close to.
fucking kids, man.

im sorry, but i cant offer you any advice or anything...
But i CAN say....wow you have AMAZING patients........From what ive read, you handled the situation really well, AND you didnt let your anger or frustrations get the better of you and do something you didnt want.
Im sorry to hear your day out was a bust.
That's got to frustrating when you're all ready to have a nice day out for the two of you, and she acts like that. Good for you for dealing with it so well. I know when my daughter acts like that, it makes me want to scream and hit something!
