Make A Child Smile

I didnt know where to put this so im sorry if its in the wrong place.

A few months ago I came across this website makeachildsmile.com. It really amazed me because its really about the kids and not all about money like other child organizations ive seen. Each month 3 kids with life threatning diseases are featured. Their picture is posted and their stories are told. These kids have all been through so much at such a young age and it amazes me how strong and brave they are. All they ask of us is to send them a card wishing them well and you can send a small gift if you'd like. I try to do it every month I usually make or buy a card and send something simple like a coloring book, a book, or a pack of stickers because im pretty low on cash. Its really sad that some of the kids i send stuff to die just a few months later. I just wanted to share this website with others, check it out if you have time :)

What a great idea! I'm going to do this with MY kids every month.

Do you know if there is a policy on sending used gifts? I like to encourage my children to give the toys, clothes, and books they have outgrown to other kids in need.
