This may seem like a really dumb question, but to those who have their babies or who are about the same amount along as me, do you/ did you have a constant ache in your tummy all the time at about this stage (im 37 weeks, but its been like this for a couple of weeks)? It doesnt really worry me that much, as its not overly painful, but my belly is so very tight...and its not contractions, im just very very tight all the time, like rock solid..and i cant move without the ache getting worse. Im just concerned it might be a bad thing..
So yea im just checking..this is normal, right?
Yup. :-D Totally normal. There just isn't much room to move anymore, or for growth.
I feel that way only after I eat. My belly is really small though. Its like a % month belly everyone says.

Oh good. Yea im the same, im not very big at all, but im sooo hard its just stupid, people bump into me and are convinced im having a contraction but im not!
Well you are a week ahead of me so I hope that isn't a sign of what is to come.
i'm 36 weeks and the past two days, i've been so uncomfortable because of that that i have barely even been able to move, and actually went to the doctor yesterday just to make sure everything is alright.
i am ready for this baby to be born already.
Yup same here, Im doing everything I can now to try to hurry her up, shes dropped low but she seems quite comfortable, at the expense of any comfort I might want to have! :)
I'm 37 weeks and I'm ready to have this baby too. My daughter was 2 weeks late and I'm really not looking forward to FIVE more weeks like this. I'm running out of tums!
I get those aches, or as I call them pains, a lot lately especiailly under my breast where my stomach starts to go out. My midwife said the hardness of your belly is the braxton hicks contractions.
I wish I had a small belly, but BD and I make big babies!
I've been pushing myself to clean as much as I can throughout the day hoping that it'll speed things along, so far no luck, but I do have the cleanest kitchen floor in the neighborhood lately.
