call the doctor if you have a problem.
so you dont think i'm being parinoid cuz my fiance seems to think I am. I just am terrified of something happening to my baby.
I honestly have no idea if that is normal or not because I haven't been 22 weeks pregnant in like 2 years and I am not a doctor, which is why I would call the doctor if I were you.
I thought kick counts and movement was more monitored after 28 weeks.
If you're really worried I'd drink a glass of juice then lay on your left side and see if you feel any change. If you've been very active it's normal for the fetus to be lulled to sleep by the movement but when you lay down or take a break they tend to get more active. Whatever you do relax since stressing out isn't beneficial to you or the fetus.
If you don't feel any change within an hour or so then you may want to call your doctor just to let him/her know you're concern and they may be able to ease your fears.
if you're really worried, there's nothing wrong with calling the doctor, but i know when i was 22 weeks i went a couple days without feeling anything once, and she was fine.
22 weeks is pretty early to worry about that.
Sometimes the baby can be positioned towards your back and you won't be able to feel it all.
Im 24 weeks and 2 days and he still doesnt move all the time sometimes only at night. I get scared sometimes too but my doctor said im fine just make sure there are no bad cramps or bleeding, but if youre really worried it wouldnt hurt to call and ask your doctor about it.
Have you eaten today? After you eat, the baby tends to move around.
I would probably try either lying down for a while, taking a shower or bath, or drinking something cold or eating...you might even know yourself what makes your baby move around a lot, but some of these can help. But if you are worried, I would call your doctor to put your mind at rest.
Yes, lay on you left side. It helps with blood circulation.
Drink some orange juice then lay down and see. Hope all is well.
Eat something sweet, but I wouldn't worry at this stage. At 22 weeks, feeling movement can be very sporadic and dependent ona number of factors. If you are worried, call your dr. That is what he or she is there for.
If you dont feel the baby move after youve tried all those things, call your doctor or midwife and ask them to send you to the hospital for a 'non-stress test' it monitors the babys movements and heart beat. its only about 20 minutes long. i had a bunch of those when i was pregnant with my son because i had alot of decreased movement and high blood pressure near the end of my pregnancy....but it is a little early for you to worry too much. im sure everythings ok :)
