I have pmed all mommas that i saw had a florida location. If you are a florida momma and would like to participate please let me know. :lol: I would love any suggestions from florida mommas in regard to date, location, length, and activities. I will raise any funds needed to get us mommas together. I have said i would be willing to set up housing in my area if thats what we decide on. If you would like to help me set this up I would really appreciate the help.. So far i do not have a completed list of interested girls. I will post as soon as i know.

are you thinking of doing a weekend thing? That would be awesome if we could spend a weekend at the beach or something. I think we all need a little vacation. Just an idea.
yeah it would be a weekend thing( i work mon-fri). I was thinking maybe we could all meet at a campground near a beach and just chill for the weekend. Low cost and fun for the kids too.

If you girls are interested in South Florida (West Palm Beach area), my house is open for shacking. I have a queen size bed that one girl is welcome to share with me and my son, I have a queen size bed that will hold a couple of girls and a kid and a twin bed that will hold 2 kids or a mama and kid.
If it's somewhere away from SoFla, I can drive (My car has space for 4 adults and a child or 3 adults and 2 children and lots of cargo space). I am broke, but if some girlies help with gas, I'm up for a drive.
If SoFla is an option, there are lots of great things to do here and a very great kid-friendly beach close by. We have the zoo as well.

moreover, I will be in wisconsin from august 13 till the 20th any weekends other than that is cool. I am in the process of moving but if we do this like end of july or early august i can offer up my place too. I live like a walk from the beach. I will help raise funds for gas and food and such. I am open for going south too. i have relatives( well my son does anyway) in miami. Maybe i should just make up my friggin' mind!

I have a seven month old son and i have a pack-n-play and a tent that sleeps like alot of people....Althought some people dont like tents. :P
Well, I am for sure in, as long as the weekend isn't the same one as the mamagathering! I will be bringing my 22 month old. I've got a pack-and-play that we don't really use and a car. I am willing to drive as long as whoever rides with me (if anyone) helps out with gas money.
My daughter will be one year old in August & will be with me. We co-sleep, so she'll crash wherever I crash.
I'll be in NC visiting heather & some other mamas August 9th to 13th, so I'll have to decline if the meetup is then, I can't do anything the weekend of August 30th (Cordie's 1st birthday), other than that I'm open. I live in the Orlando area & can drive one more mama & one kidlet in my car.

I am so open to S. Florida...but I'm located near here. I'd be up for a drive too...end of July works for me, so does beg. of september, I have school so a weekend would be great!

I live near North Miami but I don't mind driving. I like the beach tent idea, but the only thing is it is hot as hell.
I'll be more than glad to help with the planning. Unfortunately, my house is very very very small, so crashing at my place is not a good option. But there are alot of cool things to do around where I live. Maybe we can split a hotel or something. I can do some research and can probably find some good deals. I am also broke, so I would like to keep this the least costly possible.

My son has a trundle bed and the bottom doesn't have a mattress but I think I could borrow an extra one from my mom -- my brother also has a trundle and NEVER EVER uses the second mattress.
Let's just make sure to keep in touch and stay organized to this doesn't fall through!!
Oh, you guys, I would love to come! But I am going to be in the Keys that weekend. :( I knew my vacations this summer would somehow cut into this! Don't feel like you guys have to change the plans cause of me, though. But if we could do it another weekend that would be even better.
Normally I am very close to Sisica. I also know of really great hotels in West Palm, I would totally be willing to split one on the beach with a couple people, if we DO make it another weekend!
P.S. I have a Jeep Wrangler, I will be coming alone, and I could probably fit one other person plus luggage. It's a noisy car though! Soft top is not quiet on the highway.
As of yet, ANY weekend works for me. However, there IS a possibility tha the weekend of July 17th won't. My son is coming back from Greece that weekend and staying a few days in New York. My best friend is directing a series of 4 shorts for a play during that time so I'm going to try to convince my parents into allowing me to go to NYC and see his performances that weekend. I'll keep you updated. Any weekend other than the 17th is fine.
I'm going to have to bow out - that weekend is just a few days before Lorrie comes and we head off to North Carolina, it's just going to be too crazy around here to do two mini-vacations in one week when I'll be 21 weeks pregnant with a one year old...maybe I can jump in on the next gathering once Eve is born. :) I hope you guys have a blast!
