Ok, so I had sex with my boyfriend. Yes, this was my very first time. I am not on anything at all and well, we didn't use any protection. He didn;t cum in me and didn't stay in long because I made him stop because it hurt. Well, this was last Friday. My period was supposed to start today but it didn't. Sometimes it can be a day or two late, but I don't even have pms symptons. What are the chances that I am pregnant??? I cannot talk to my parents and I feel so alone right now. Please someone help.... I am going to try and get free birth control at the clinic sometime soon, but I need to have this figured out. I am afraid my stress may be causing my period to be late....

stress can delay your period, so try not to be too stressed out. though i know that is easier said then done.
none of us can really tell you what the chances are of you being pregnant.
i'd give it a few days if i were you, wait and see if your period comes. if it doesn't come soon, then go to planned parenthood and talk to them about your options.
good luck.
keep us posted. You can take a home pregnancy test too.
Well, my period has started, kinda. I have the cramps and spotting so I guess I am in the clear, but does anyone know how to obtain free birth control? I think I was told I can schedule an appointment at the prenatal clinic here in town and explain my college student no job situation and get it. Does anyone else no how?
planned parenthood always has funding, though they may not be free, and will know resources for you.
I know the planned parenthood in RI is not free. You could get it cheap there though i would assume. COuld you just visit your Gyno or doctor and ask for some samples??? i know my doctor gave me a few months for free before and if you go through your insuarance the pill can be fairly cheap. my copay was maybe45-10 a month i think... i dont really remember but i do know that it was 428 a month w/o insurance. that seems expensive but really its less than a dollar a day to keep you from getting pregnant!!! again, it would be soooooo much cheaper with insurance and your doctor CANNOT tell your parents anything at all!!!!!!!!! i would ask for some free samples though. mine gave me 3 months of them. then i had a perscription but if you say that you dont want your parents knowing the DR may give you a lot more boxes like even a yr supply, you never know. good luck and be safe!
If you're on your parents' insurance, though, they will get an explanation of benefits (EOB). This can say what services were recieved, so if this is a concern don't use insurance.
STD centres usually offer free or very cheap BC.
