She wants to know how soon she can take a test she had sex about 4 days ago and was doing drugs during that time so she wants to know how likely it is that she is pregnant and that her period is due close to now.
I tried to tell her to wait 14 days but she said she wants to ask you girls... lol :)

you're right. about fourteen days is good. or as soon as or right before she misses her period, if she knows her cycle real well.
If her period is due very soon, it is unlikely she is pregnant. But anything is possible, and it is a good idea to take a test if her period doesn't show up.
well she told me shes not sure if she had her period this months or not. Can someone explain ovolation to us... I don't know much about it and she was wondering. thanks
basically, a woman can only get pregnant if there is sperm present while she's ovulating, which, in simple terms, is when an egg is available to be fertilized (about two days out of every month). for most women with a 28 day cycle, this happens about fourteen days after their period starts. which is why it would be unlikely for your friend to be pregnant if she had unprotected sex right before her period.
