why do you want to work more? i consider going to high school and taking care of a kiddo full time work!! if you wanna work cool. but i think that sounds like a lot of stress. can you get yr folks to help? do you get childsupport? are you on government assistance?

Working and going to school

I hada job when I was i high school, but I didn't have a baby at the time. However, I think a job can be really valuable for a sense of autonomy and for something to put on your resume when you're out of school.

When I was in college, I worked 40 hours a week and went to school and in lots of ways I regret it. I missed out on alot of special times with my kids and I wish I had the resources or the knowledge of resources to do it differently.

Is there any type of alternate schooling? I was on home studies for a while in high school. I was able to get ahead and graduate a year early. I would talk to your school counselor to find out what programs are available so you can spend less time at school and more time with your baby. Maybe you can do your school work at night when the baby is asleep.

Working and going to school

My high school had a program wherein you could skip half the day and go to work, provided you did indeed have a job. It was called co-op. There was also the home-schooling option, too.
