My name is Stacy and I am 23 years old from Southern California. I have a 5 year old daughter whom I had when I was seventeen. Her name is Ashley and she just finished Kinder.
I have known about girlmom for years but never joined...guess I never thought I had much to say...
Since I had my daughter life has been great...but busy... I graduated from Undergrad in 2005 and just finished my first year of law school this May! I'm now working at a non-profit law firm in L.A. in the Teen Parent's division! I get to help teen parent who are in the same situation that I was once in and it's great....
I look forward to meeting all of you... if I'm slow to respond please don't be offended... I'm working full time... I have my daughter to take care of and I am taking summer school disability law courses... I may be slow to respond but I promise to try my best!

i'm jenni mama to 2.5 year old xander. I too wanted to go to law school but with my options so limited i opted for my MSW instead. I'm working full time in nonprofit working with pregnant or parenting families of all ages, but most of my caseload is teen parents. I love working with them too.
i look foward to get to know you better and seeing what else you can add to the boards. There was another mama here who had her son young too and was in law school. I don't know how active she is anymore.
