I've tried it a few times. It hurts, but it can be pleasurable if you are into that sort of thing. I don't like to do it too often because of the pain. If you do decide to try it, make sure he and you are very well lubricated, use a condom, and have him go very slow, until you accomidate him.
If you're not comfortable with the idea of anal sex, then it's a good idea NOT to engage in it because you're discomfort at the idea will make the act less than pleasurable. I don't know that from personal experience, but I've heard it mentioned many times by those who have had anal sex and didn't enjoy it.
