OK,
My baby girl is 3 months oldand I still haven't got her birth certificate,
is that normal or not?
When did you ppl get your kids birth certificates?
If someone can please, answer this question it would help me a lot!
Thanx!
In Washington, you have to either go to the local courthouse and buy a copy or send in money for a certified copy. they don't automatically send you one. It took about six weeks for my son's to come.
i live in ontario and it didnt take even close to a year. I have heard that it can take a long time. but i got my Birth certificate for my baby by the time she was 3 months old. I applied for it as soon as possible and i got it within 4-5 weeks i think.
I got mine at 2 months cuz bd needed it for the army. (although they still doesnt get money for him) I had to pay extra and drive over 2 hours away to get it . No option to get it sent in the mail!
It depends on the state, but i'm pretty sure that most places do give one complimentary birth certificate in the mail. I'm in louisiana and the vital records registry is in new orleans so everything has been backed up. My friend got hers in 6 months...but Nicholas is almost 10 months and I still don't have his so now i've been calling around to inquire about it. I would just contact your vital records office or the hospital where you delivered (if you delivered in a hospital)
well i dont know about over there, but here in ontario it takes up to a year.......

I just got one for ten year old and only for travel purposes. It took 3 days to come in the mail and cost $33.00 Canadaian.
Alexis was like 4 and Mason, 2. I waited too long, I think, but I've got them now. I don't think you've waited too long at all.
