My daughter is 3 months old. She probably nurses 12 times a day. She weighed 6 3 at birth, and at two months she was 12 8. I'm guessing she's 15 or 16 pounds now! Anyone else experiance this?
A breastfeed baby cannot over-eat. They eat just a much as they need to! We nurse on demand and DD is in the 95% for weight and 75% for height. Don't worry about it! Just keep feeding your baby! :D
Breast feeding babies can over eat but not in the sense your talking about
My nephew would over eat and throw it up or yell about his full tummy
Mommy would have to stop him every 5 mins and wait a lil' to feed again.
If she is gaining weight and eating what she wants.. she is not overeating
it might just be a growth spurt or just how she grows..
my boy was 17 lbs at 2 months. It's perfecly normal for some children. Remember they are supposed to have a lot of growth spirts at that age. her weight might slow down after a while. For example, my son peaked weight of 22lbs at 5 months of age. Then, at his first birthday check-up he only weighted 23 lbs. But he had grown in height and looked a lot less chubby. As long as she's thriving and on breastmilk, I wouldn't worry about her gaining too much.
