Ok here is the problem we bought a house from Bd's dad and the agreement was everything left inside we could keep, now we got into a fight and hes trying to take everything..
is tehre a law taht says all assets are mine since this is my house now?
how can i prevent him from taking the stuff he gave to us since its not on paper?

It sounds like you really need to go speak with a lawyer. Most will do consoltations for free and tell you what your legal options are.
Verbal contracts can sometimes hold up in court.

Isn't posession 9/10 of the law?
If you have it and he said you could have it, he cannot just reneg on your verbal contract.
