I like her, but I am worried whether she can win. There are a lot of people in this country who can't stand her, and I think she is almost too left leaning to get the middle voter. And frankly, as much as it sucks there are a lot of people out there who wouldn't vote for her simply because she is a woman. On the other hand, if she wins I think she would be awesome for this country as far as Iraq and healthcare, stuff like that.

I like her for several reasons and don't like her for a few, as well. But I like Barack Obama too, who was looking into running - I'd have conflicts of voting at the Primary between those two.

I think it's cool she's taking the step, actually I think it's rather rocking... seriously, a woman joining the Presidential race of one of the two major parties! Fuck yah!

Just wondering, if she won - President Clinton and First Man? (Bill Clinton ... hmmm) I guess I have always wondered that ... lol

I think its cool that she's running. But I also really like Barack Obama...maybe its b/c I grew up in Illinois? But either one of them would make an excellent president.

She's honestly not my favorite. I feel like she panders to the right too much. I think candy-eyed posted an article about this a while back. I think there are better candidates out there (though, true, worse ones as well.) Yes, it would be awesome to have a woman candidate/president, but I won't vote for her on that alone. I like some of the folks (like Kusinich) who just don't get the press it takes to ever win. Obama, I think, has potential. He seems like he may be both a good candidate and a viable candidate.

I'm from NY where shes a senator.

My problem with her is that since she has started to talk about this she has started to lean a bit more to the middle. Understandably she wants to attract as many voters as possible but... She needs to stand her ground. If she wants to come across as pro womens rights and choices she needs to stay there. Not lean more to the middle now to get more voters. That just annoys me.

If it comes down to a choice between the two of them, I'm going with Obama. I think he's smart, fresh, and as of yet still unjaded by politics and washington.

I don't think hilary has a snowball's chance. First you separate the nation into people who are antiwoman president and people who are pro/don't care. Then add to all the antiwoman pres people all the people who are just plain anti-hilary. Too many against her. I don't think she'll get the nomination. I happen to think she's fricking fabulous, but I'm realistic.

I heart Obama!
If I had to choose, I would choose him. I think that it's awesome, though, that we finally have an election where we have a person of color AND a women both running and being viable canadates!

I don't think she'll make it past the primaries, but if she did, I would certainly vote for her given the other potential candidates (McCain, Giuliani, Brownback). She's not my favorite for the Dems.

I saw the results of the Iowa primary; it looks like John Edwards for the dems? Obama's ahead of Clinton so far, but still not in the lead.

I saw that Mitt Romney's running as a republican...my sis lives in Massachusetts, where he's governor. She says he's not a great guy...she's a social worker, used to work at a homeless shelter for teen parents, says he cut the hell out of their programs (GED program, etc.).

Ugh. I would HATE to have Mitt Romney as a president. I hate what he's done to Massachusetts. He's taken some big steps toward ruining public education there.

im from ma, and its not just education hes destroyed. our public health system has taken major major cuts. the waiting list for daycare assistance is 4 years. housing is 12. so many schools do not have enough teachers, or even yet books, supplies, and our music and art classes have been cut to ridiculously small amount.

i would pack up my bags and go to canada. asap. if he won.
