wel you see when my son trned 4 moths old i had to stop exclusivly breastfeeding because no matter how much or long i feed him it just asnt enough and he was satisfied with just breastfeeding so i supplement with a bottle now and then threw the day but i exclusivly breastfeed at night... because its a comfort thing for both him and i... well my question is that i barely breastfeed anymore mayb 2 times a day at about 3 times a night once befor bed midnight snake and when he wakes up..... im wondering why my period hasnt came back he a little over 5 months now and still no period could there be a proble mand i need to kick start my period (my step mom said it happened to her) i checked to see if i wwas prego but i wasnt... any advice how long did it take for you ladies to get your periods back?
I JUST got my period back. My son is 14 almost 15 months old. I was Breastfeeding a bit more often than you though.
Everyone is different. Your period will come when it comes. It could be tomorrow, it could be months from now.
Don't use your period as an indicator of pregnancy at this time. Not a good idea. If you don't want to get pregnant right away, make sure you're using a good birthcontrol.
I EXCLUSIVELY bf and my baby is only six weeks old and I already have my period -_-
I got my period approx. 8 weeks PP, I wasn't EBF then though. I got it one time, and it hasn't come back. Adrien is now almost 18 weeks, and no period. I think it's normal...nothing to be worried about. It's probably the combination of BFing (even if it isn't regularly) and your body adjusting to not be pregnant anymore. You just went from not having your period for 38 weeks...it may take some time to get regular.
