Just another reason why I hate apartment living.. Our neighbor freaked out on us this morning because we were washing diapers in the washer in our apartment building.. aparently her "friend" who also lives in the building says that her clothes smell like pee after we wash diapers. Funny how NO ONE else has complained in the 5 months we've lived here and weve been washing diaper the WHOLE time. We often wash our clothes right after a load of diapers and Ive never noticed a smell. Anyways, the lady asked bd to scrub the inside of the washer w/ soap & water after we finished the load.. SERIOUSLY What the hell would that do even if there was a smell?? And she says she's going to the landlord because of this.. I dont remembering signing anything that says you cant wash diapers in the communal laundry facility.
Ugh, this is just rediculous.. and it irritates me because I put up w/ a lot of crap from this lady and dont complain. She has her like 10ish y.o. grandaughter all the time and she chucks things like those bath beads off the balcony onto the class my one y.o plays on! She skateboards on the balcony which makes an awful racket.. the lady vaccums at 10 pm and wakes my kid up. Her 3ish y.o grandson visits and slams doors and screams and yells. Her visitors take up the first 4 parking spots so I have to lug my 2 babies half way across the lot.. and she yells when we take the 1st or 2nd spot because they belong to her (we dont have assigned parking). This lady has called the cops on us accusing us of smoking pot when we moved in.. we werent- it was Nag Champa incense we were burning and bd and I always wear patchouli.. we have for years.
Sorry this is one giant rant.. Im just annoyed and angry and frustrated.. I hate confrontation and apparently this women LOVES it.. ugh. How the hell do I deal with this woman?? Any ideas?
Oh wow...that is very petty, IMO. Why is she going to go to the landlord? That makes no sense. She can go to a laundry mat if she has such a problem. You are doing something so great by using CDs and she's making a big deal about it. She's almost acting like CDing is dirty or something. Maybe you can go to your landlord first? I am sure that she won't say anything to you...I mean she can't!

Tell her if shes having a problem she can run a load without clothes and just bleach if shes uneasy because honestly the whole point of washing diapers is so the are clean. And if the washing machine is making clothes smell like pee after your done, then there is something wrong with the washer.
I hated the dirty looks at the laundromat for washing cloth diapers.. I feel for you mama.
My nana calls people like that "habitual gripers" ...and it's true..I figure if u were using Disposable diapers then the old bag would gripe because it was stinking up the dumpster or something...Spike her coffee...lol jk....Get BD to complain to the landlord about it. You pay rent just like she does you shouldn't have to put up with that bull crap.
AND another thing....I don't know about your kiddos but my babys urine doesnt smell like "pee" would..it doesn't have a smell to it...I've been peed on enough to know :P
that is pretty rediculous. You have the right to do you laudry in there just as muc as she does. I feel for you. Good luck with her. I hope it pans out nicely.
