Bras!

I am a 36D and my boobs feel so huge ... I am not the type of girl to wear shirts that make me feel busty or cleavege showing ... which is cool if you do, but I just don't like doing that ...

Anyway, my bras! I hate under wire bras because whenever I sit down it feels like that wire is digging into my ribs and then if I don't have an under wire, there is no support. Plus my boobs aren't perky anymore, so if I don't wear a bra, they sag and bounce badly and that is really uncomfortable to me ..

any suggestions?

Maybe a sports bra? Also maybe your bra is the wrong size, have you tried getting fitted for one? Or i know they make non underwire bras that aren't sports bras.

I would have your size re-measured.

An underwire, which is what I wear everyday, should not be that uncomfortable.... If it's digging in, something is not right.

I'm guessing your size is a bit off.... either cup wise, or band wise. I'm guessing band wise, because that is the most common... And I'm guessing it is most likely too big... and that you may be a 34 DD... YEP!

Once you get the right size, there are some great underwires out there, that should make you feel less busty, in fact they should have you standing at attention with lots of waist!!!!

I wouldn't go the non-underwire route, if I were you.. the support isn't there for someone with your bust size.

Yah I should go get fitted for a bra ... I did years ago but I have gotten bigger since then.

I have tried sports bras, but ahhh ... I dunno, they're not too comfortable. Yah the non-underwires - yep, not enough support

I'm about the same bra size as you, totally feel your pain. I love the "Body by Victoria" bra...it's the only one that gives me full support w/o those "bra lines" and still keeps 'em defying gravity.

I found this chart on victoriassecret.com or whatever it is and it gives you directions on how to properly measure your breasts yourself and I came up with 34DD ... yep.

I think after work tomorrow I'll run over to V's Secret and have someone measure me to double check and then buy some new bras!

sadly, victoria secret make amazing bras. i have NO BOOBS> so its a waste of money for me to buy expensive ones. but my mom treated me once to a VS bra. i gave them away when i got pregnant because i got boobs all of a sudden and i thought they would stick around. but ya the VS bra i had was underwire but it was so well disguised as non underwire it was like pretty much the perfect bra. i had two of them.

Yeah VS, is great.... definetely better then LaSenza, but LaSenza does cater to smaller sizes... So I guess they have their place too.

I'm saving up for VS!!!!

Haha, no definitely not just you!
but ya know these women who measure have seen it all..we have nothing to hide! I've grown up with the whole mentality of "Don't show your body to anyone..." like it was improper or gross. But we should celebrate our bodies, boobs and all!!

And it all starts with some cleavage

... well it's part of their jobs, honestly. I don't know, it doesn't bother me because I know they're not doing it on purpose and because I asked them.

Although, yes ... we all have our own opinions. I know.

Honestly, as someone who used to have the job, it wasn't the best part, by all means.

But I don't ever remember touching anyone's breast either.. You just lay the tape, and hold the tension at the back so it stays in the right place... exactly where you laid it down.

The worst part is sticking your hand in someones sweatie armpit!

yah was going ot say it's not like they cup your beast and feel it, they use the tape measure ...

haha sweaty armpits.

But hey, it happens to us all, right?

if its digging into you when you sit, like yabinti said its probablly the wrong size.

Thats all i wear is underwire and its comfy as a bra can be. lol

Maybe try a 38D.

Right now my boobs are a 38D. I wear Victorias Secrets bras. Yes expensive but thier the only comfy bras. Plus they last VERY long. As long as you DONT dry them in a drier and hang dry them they will last a long time. I have a bra on today that i wore when pregnant with Andrew and like 4 months after. I stored it away with my maternity clothes and now ive been wearing it this pregnancy and to be honest its in perfect condition. So you pay for what you get.

I cant wear any other brand of bras. Thier not comfy for me.

i know that i'm a bit late, BUT

I am a 38 D/DD and i LOVE VS. I wear the secret embrace and the wire is totally covered in fabric. You can't even tell that it's an underwire bra. My breasts have always been a bit saggy and un perky, so i've always had to wear a bra and this is the best one i've ever bought. They're expensive though, i payed 50 each for mine  But as kell said, they really are the best.
