So I love my mom and normally she is one kick ass mama.. but today for some reason she's really cranky. So I have a job interview today for a better paying positon with just a few extra hours then I normally work now, at my same place I work now.. and she asked if i was going to go back to a job in general after the baby was born and I said I basically had to because we need the money.. and she says 'well.. what are you going to do with the baby?'.. uhhhhh.. mmmm.. no clue. I guess I shouldn't have assumed she'd watch the baby, but she already watches Xander.. but I've sorta known for awhile she doesn't want to be tied down to babysitting 4 days a week. ::sigh::... so what are my options? quit my job and be a SAHM (which actually Id love), or put my kids in daycare (we dont qualify for subsidy for BS reasons.. so WE'D have to pay.. and in that case what would be the point of even working?).. i called Brett and told him and asked if he was going to start looking for a job at a transmission shop soon and he said that yeah he would..Im stressing out about this big time even though I have 6 months from now until I'd be going back to work after the baby is born. I could technically work weekends, and maybe one other day someplace.. but.. ::sigh:: this is making me kind of upset and stressed out.
Is there any way you can look into things you can do to work at home? Even like, an ebay store, get a good product that sells well and you could make good income while at home, you could stay with your kids, but make money at the same time, kwim?
Could you afford to throw a bit of money your mothers way if she can babysit the two of them?
She might be willing to help, maybe just wanted to have it discussed with her first.
Anyway, hope you find an arrangement that suits you all.
