too much! *weight trigger?*

ok, so I was a good weight before i moved out of my parents house, but within the past few weeks I have dropped a LOT of weight i couldn't afford to loose. The numer are back up (kinda) but I hate how thin I've gotten. I am beginning to recieve comments about eating disorders from strangers. Sad thing is, I'm trying so hard to bulk up again.

if anyone has had this problem--how did you gain the weight back? My family and friends are very worried and so am I. I feel gross becasue I look too thin. Mostly in my arms and lower legs. i look so weird...

Thanks in advance. I'm sory if this post rubbed anyone the wrong way for any reason...

Do you know why you dropped so much weight so fast??
That happened to me and it seemed like everyone had something to say and I had no idea what the hell anyone was talking about until I saw myself in a picture. I honestly don't know how to bulk back up..

When I used to be a lot thinner than i am now people would always make rude comments too. I don't see why people think they can say what they think about someone's body size... But anyway, maybe you could try protien shakes or something, or working out like lifting weights and stuff, you would gain muscle and you wouldn't look as thin, I mean you would but it would be a more toned thin kwim?

yeah, I know what you mean. My diet had changed, but i am taking in just about the same stuff that i did efore. i'll def. look into the protein shakes and stuff like that. I didn't realize how bad it was until i caught sight of myself in the mirror a few days ago--i thought they where all just nuts or something...

Definately make sure you're eating high calorie healthy foods. Don't fill up on garbage food expecting to just gain some fat. The wrong fats are still bad, even if you're too thin. Bad fats are still bad fats.

Snack on things like nuts, peanut butter, avacado, fish and chicken and a couple portions of lean red meat a week if you're not a vegitatian. When you make salad, use spinich leaves instead of romain or iceburg. Spinich is so much better for you.

the protein chake thing sounds good too.

Just a thought but have you had your thyroid checked?

nah, i'm not vegitarian--mcdonald's chiken killed that adventure pretty quickly for me a few years ago

I have a peanut butter sandwich at least every othr day or so and i eat a LOT of sushi (yum!) the read meat thing might be tough, but I have some whenI go over friends houses.
My mother had a tyroid problem so the check me sometimes just to see if i'm ok and they havn't ever seen anything so i think i can rule that one out.

I've gained a little bit of it back, but I think I lost so much of it becuae I cut out soda and fast food almost entirly. it's amazing how much crap is in that stuff!

Yea my mom and Great-Grandma both have thyroid problems...otherwise i dont think I would really even know to watch my weight. My mom's started right after she had me so I really watch it since i just had Kaden.

If you are cutting out soda and fast food and you have lost a bunch of weight then HELL YEA!!!!! No more Mountain dew and McDonalds for me LOL.

You must have a high metabolism. I haven't eaten fast food in YEARS and I go off/on with pop, although now I just drink water during the day, one coffee in the morning and MAYBE a few sips of juice. I eat about 1500 calories a day and my diet is really low-fat because I'm a vegan and I don't lose weight fast ... it's odd.

Our bodies are different, good luck!
