whats the deal?
i am not on any kind of birth control. it started slowly, like usual.. came on "full force", like usual.. then slowly went away, like usual. only this time it hasn't ACTUALLY gone away and its been about 2 weeks. its only spotting right now (that awesome brown blood) but it will turn red after i have sex - which is clearly the most awesome discovery a girl could have during that post-sex glow.
is there something i can do about this? i am contemplating going on the pill just to regulate things better, even though the pill makes me go bonkers and i hate it.
is there something wrong with my body? other than some sort of curse? (that is the only explanation i can think of)
i've been off all forms of birth control for months and months, so its not just me adjusting. it just sucks.
When I read the topic of your post I was like "Oh its cuz of her BC" but then i read it....Um i have no idea. Sorry I know im not helping but the only thing I could possibly think of is to try to find some kind of BC that you will want to take and try to regulate it that way. I know when I first got on Loestrin (or however you spell it LOL)I had my period for 2 weeks then was off for a week and then had it again for another week. It sucked so i kinda know what you are going through but kinda not because i knew why it was happening to me. I would say talk to your GYN.
I think it is fine to have one random period or so like that. Even off BC. I don't think getting on the pill is a good idea unless it keeps happening. If you are concerned you should talk to your doctor.
I know you said you weren't on any BC, but when I got off the ring for a couple of months last year - this happened. I went back on the ring & it went back more regular. I would also check with the doctor, maybe ... this happened to my friend this past summer (but she was on the pill) and they told it wasn't anything serious ... but maybe just to be on the safe side.
