What is the proper way of calculating when they come? I'm used to just going by "the feeling." like when I start to get moody and little signs, then I know it's coming. But this coming month I have a camping trip, and I want to be sure to schedule it when I'm not on my period. Is it 28 days after you last period?? and if it is, is it 28 days from the day you first got your period, or 28 days from when it ended?? :?

periods can vary on the number of days each month. For example mine come every 28 days sometimes 29. Day 1 would be the first day you bleed and i count to day 28 and I start bleeding on the day after that day 29 which would then be day 1 of my next period hope that isnt too confusing here is the website I use to keep track of my periods: mymonthlycycles.com Most women have anywhere from 26 to 30 days between periods so 28 is just average. If you know the days you started your last periods you can put them into the website above and it will calculate for you your next expected period.
I also use My Monthly Cycles. I love it. just usuing a calender works well too.
me too but my periods run from 33-35 days apart! I just track them. It's much easier that way.
I usually get really emotional the weekend before and I get odd cramps the few days before.
Although, now since starting the pill again (I'm on my 4th pack) my period has been REALLY weird.
