This is a spin-off from the "what does feminism mean to you" thread. Got some good reccommendations of books about feminism that may shape or reshape our understanding of the subject? I know I've got a few. I'll start the thread off with the books mentioned in the other thread.
Feminist Theory: From Margin to Center by bell hooks
Colonize This!: Young Women of Color on Today's Feminism edited by Daisy Hernandez and Bushra Rehman.
Add your own! I will too when I have more time.

I really enjoyed these:
The Whole Woman by Germaine Greer
Who Stole Feminism? (can't remember the author)
Intercourse by Andrea Dworkin
*Fight Like a Girl: How to be a Fearless Feminist by Megan Seely
*Fruitful: On Motherhood and Feminism by Anne Roiphe
And I haven't read this one yet, but it looks good:
Full Frontal Feminism: A Young Woman's Guide to Why Feminism Matters
by Jessica Valenti.
oops! I just realized I only copied over two of the books that were in the other thread. There was also:
Black Feminist Thought: Knowledge, Consciousness, and the Politics of Empowerment by Patricia Hill Collins
The "Full Fruntal" author has a website called www.feministing.com It pretty good
One more:
Letters to a young feminist by Phyllis Chesler.
:)
These three have stuck out to me during research for essays, etc...
Mothers & Sons: Feminism, Masculinity, and the Struggle to Raise Our Sons By Andrea O'Reilly
Unbearable Weight: Feminism, Western Culture, and the Body by Susan Bordo
Although this is largely about feminist backlash, and sometimes debated, I found this book to be incredibly eye opening.
What, no baby? Why women are losing the freedom to mother and how they can get it back by Leslie Cannold
