Can someone please explain to me what these are. What are the dangers of them and how do you know if you have them? Sorry to be so vague but I'll elaborate more once I know more about what they are.
I just put a book on hold at the library that I MUST pick up soon. It's called
"It's my ovaries, Stupid!"
I had such horrible ovarian cysts in april, that I was in the hospital for a five days. I really don't have any info on them, so I'm hoping I will learn a lot from the book. All I can say is the fucking suck! I got on the ring, and I am hoping that they won't come back... we'll see tracking my cycles to see if I have an bad pains in my left ovary (the one that "blew up")...
There are actually quite a few different cysts.
The corpus luteum is the egg follical attaching to your ovary and releasing progesterone, and that goes away unless you get pregnant.
I don't know all the kinds.
I had a complex, dermoid (?) cyst that had blood and fluid in it.
I also have endo and was going for diagnostic ultrasounds when they found my cyst.
Most cysts go away on their own. If you have any more specific questions you want to ask, I can try to answer them if I can.
